The Hope Centre began with a simple but powerful belief: everyone is loved by God and special to Him. Each one deserves a place to belong, a place where they feel safe, supported and truly seen.

For generations, St Matthew’s has been a community of faith, where people from Jersey and beyond have found peace, healing, and the love of God. With our buildings moving beyond repair and the need for community greater than ever, we are commited to build a centre to serve our community, love our neighbours, and leave a lasting legacy of hope.

Hope

A Centre at the heart of Millbrook where families can gather, friendships can blossom, children can play and the lonely find company. A place where healing, laughter, learning and hope grow together.

Community

The Hope Centre is more than a building, it is a promise: that no one will face life alone; that help, friendship, and hope will always be close by; and there is a place to call home. We are creating a space where every person is welcome, respected and cared for.

Legacy

Honouring our past, we work together the future, we are building hope for this generation and the next.

Initiatives

The St Matthew’s Community Centre is an incredibly exciting, visionary project that will benefit the parish and the whole south coast community. The area is densely populated but doesn’t have many community facilities, which is why the Hope Centre is so needed.
